The rent does not include utilities. Tenants are expected to share the electricity costs. Telephone and internet connections are at the tenant's own expense.
A bond of four weeks' rent is also payable. The bond is lodged with the NSW Department of Fair Trading and is usually refundable at the end of the tenancy.
